Sikuma Rai is a filmmaker, focusing on identity, storytelling, and community-based media practices. She holds an MFA in Integrated Media Arts from CUNY Hunter College, New York. Her debut documentary, Come Over for a Drink, Kanchhi (2020), was nominated for the One World Media Awards 2021 in the UK. Sikuma works across documentary and narrative film as an editor, sound recordist, and director, and has facilitated filmmaking workshops with emerging filmmakers through Women in Film Nepal and Kathmandu University’s Crafting Cinema program.
